The five interfaces
Avex presents five different experiences depending on who’s signed in.
1. Staff dashboard
Who: owners, admins, managers, coaches, front desk Where: web and mobile
Running the gym — members, schedule, check-ins, plans, billing, programming, reports, store, AI, settings. What each person sees depends on their role.
2. Member portal
Who: your paying members Where: web and mobile
Booking, check-ins, today’s WOD, workout logging, lift tracking, documents, store, subscription, profile.
3. Org-less experience
Who: someone with an Avex account who hasn’t joined a gym
Find a gym, browse gym profiles, join, and track personal lifts and workouts in the meantime.
This matters for acquisition: someone can download the app, use the lift tracker for months, then join your gym — and their entire lift history comes with them. They arrive already invested.
4. Public pages
Who: anyone, no login
Your gym profile with schedule and pricing, the gym directory, public event registration, and the self-serve join flow.
5. TV display
Who: the gym floor Where: a browser on a wall-mounted screen, or cast to a Chromecast
Full-screen workout display with section-by-section navigation you control from your phone as class moves.
