How it works

A workout with today’s date and active status is today’s WOD. There’s no separate publish button — the date does it.

Where members see it

  • The home screen of the app and portal
  • The Workouts tab
  • The TV display on your gym floor
  • The leaderboard, if you set a score type

Multiple WODs in one day

Publish more than one workout on the same date and members choose which one they did — useful when you run separate tracks, like a competitor program alongside general class.

Give each a clear title so the choice is obvious: “CrossFit,” “Comp Track,” “Masters.”

Programming ahead

Build workouts on future dates and they appear automatically on the day. Most gyms program a week ahead.

Members only see today’s — future workouts aren’t visible to them, so you can build the whole week without spoiling it.

Setting it up for the leaderboard

For a WOD to produce a board, it needs a score type. Set it when you build the workout, not after — members who log before you set it will need to re-enter a result.
