How class limits are enforced
Web Owner · AdminSetting the cap
On any plan, turn Unlimited classes off and set Classes per week to a number.
What happens at the cap
The limit is enforced at booking time. A member on a 3x plan who tries to book a fourth class in the same week is blocked with a message explaining why.
They aren’t silently prevented, and they aren’t allowed to book and then removed later.
What counts toward the limit
| Counts | Doesn’t count |
|---|---|
| Confirmed class bookings | Appointments (those use appointment credits) |
| Events | |
| Open gym check-ins | |
| Cancelled bookings |
Cancelling a booking frees the slot immediately — they can rebook something else that week.
When the week resets
Weekly usage resets on a rolling basis relative to your gym’s timezone. A member who used all three on Monday gets them back at the start of the next week, not seven days later to the minute.
Restricting by class type
Separately from the weekly count, Class access restricts a plan to specific class types. A member on a plan scoped to “CrossFit” only sees and books CrossFit classes.
Combine the two: 3 classes per week, CrossFit only.
What members see
A capped member sees their remaining classes for the week in the app. When they hit the cap, the book button is replaced with an explanation.
If you need to override
To let someone exceed their cap once, book them in yourself from the class roster — staff bookings bypass the limit.
