Personal records and charts

Web Mobile

What a member sees

From the Lifts tab:

  • Current PR for each trackable movement
  • Full history of every entry, dated
  • A progress chart per movement, showing the trend over time
  • Filtering by exercise

PR detection

Automatic. Any entry that beats the previous best for that movement becomes the new PR.

Why members care

The chart is the retention mechanism. A member who can see their back squat go from 225 to 315 over a year has a visible reason to stay — one that has nothing to do with how they feel about a given week.

Point new members at it in their first month. A tracker with three entries isn’t compelling; a tracker with thirty is.

Org-less history

Someone who used the app to track lifts before joining your gym keeps that history when they join. They don’t start over.

Worth mentioning during a tour to someone already using the app — their existing data comes with them.

Coach-entered lifts

Lifts you record on a member’s behalf appear in their history exactly like their own entries, attributed to the coach who logged them.
