Set up your gym profile
Web Owner · AdminYour profile drives what members see in the app, what shows on your public page, and — critically — what time your classes actually happen.
Steps
Open your settings
Go to Settings → General.
Fill in the basics
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Gym name | Appears in the app, on emails, and on your public page |
| Description | A short paragraph for your public page. Two or three sentences is plenty |
| Street address, city, state, ZIP | Used on your public page and in the gym directory |
| Timezone | Read the warning below before you set this |
Set your timezone carefully
Your gym’s timezone is the source of truth for every class, appointment, and event on the platform. It is not read from a member’s phone or a staff member’s browser.
Set it to the timezone your gym physically operates in. If you set this wrong and then build a schedule, every class will be off by the difference and you’ll have to rebuild them.
Upload your logos
Two slots, both optional but both worth filling:
- Light logo — shown on light backgrounds
- Dark logo — shown on dark backgrounds, which is most of the app
Upload both if you have them. If you only have one, upload it to both slots.
Set your primary color
This tints your public gym page. Use your actual brand color — it’s the one place a member sees your identity rather than Avex’s.

What your members see
Your gym name and logo appear at the top of the member portal and throughout the mobile app. Your address powers the map on your public page. Members never see your timezone setting directly — they just see class times that are correct.
Notes
- Changing your timezone after you’ve built a schedule does not move existing classes. They keep their original times. Fix the timezone before you build the schedule, not after.
- Your gym slug — the
avex-os.com/gym/your-slugpart of your public URL — is set when your gym is created. Contact support to change it; existing links will break.
