Place signature fields
Web Owner · AdminThe editor
Open an uploaded PDF and drag fields onto the page where they belong. Fields are positioned exactly, page by page.
Field types
| Type | Use |
|---|---|
| Signature | Drawn signature |
| Date | Date of signing |
| Text | Printed name, address, emergency contact |
| Initials | Clause-by-clause acknowledgment |
| Checkbox | Opt-ins, acknowledgments |
Field settings
For each field:
| Setting | Notes |
|---|---|
| Label | What the signer sees |
| Placeholder | Hint text |
| Assignee | Who fills it — member, guardian, or staff |
| Required | Whether it must be completed |
| Page | Which page it sits on |
| Position and size | Where and how large |
The assignee setting
This is what makes multi-party documents work. A minor’s waiver can have the member’s fields and a guardian’s fields on the same document, each assigned to the right person.
Getting placement right
Preview before activating. A signature box overlapping printed text renders badly in the final PDF, and you won’t notice until a member sends you a screenshot.
