Your library combines:
- Platform exercises — a starter catalog every gym gets
- Your exercises — movements you add yourself
Both appear together when building workouts.

Demo videos
Adding a YouTube URL means the demo appears inline wherever the exercise shows — in the builder, in the member’s workout view, and in the exercise picker.
This is worth doing for anything technical. A member seeing a video of a hang power clean before class is a better-coached member.
Overriding a platform video
You can replace the demo video on any platform exercise with your own, without affecting other gyms. Use this when you’d rather members see your coach demonstrating your standards than a generic clip.
The lift tracker flag
Show in lift tracker controls which exercises members can log a max for. Turn it on for the lifts you actually test — back squat, deadlift, press, clean, snatch, bench — and leave it off for accessory work, or the tracker becomes unusable.
Notes
- Naming consistency matters more than it seems. Inconsistent names fragment PR history and leaderboard grouping.
- Deactivate rather than delete an exercise used in past workouts.
