Build a workout
Web Mobile Owner · Admin · Manager · CoachA workout is made of sections, and sections contain exercises.
Steps
Go to Workouts → New Workout
Name it and set the date
The title is what members see. “Fran,” “Back Squat + Metcon,” “Tuesday Strength.”
Add sections
Each section is a block of the session — warmup, strength, metcon, accessory, cooldown. Give each a title and pick its type.
For narrative blocks, use a freeform section and write the prescription as text. This is how you program things like Murph that don’t decompose into neat rows.
Add exercises to a section
| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| Exercise | Back Squat |
| Sets | 5 |
| Reps | 3 |
| Weight prescription | 80% 1RM |
| Tempo | 30X1 |
| Rest | 2 min |
| Duration / Distance | For time or distance work |
| Notes | Coaching cues |
| Circuit group | Group movements into a circuit |
Add the details that help
Equipment needed, estimated duration, and tags. Tags make the workout findable later in your library.

Making it scorable
If members should log a result and appear on the leaderboard, set a score type.
Notes
- Exercises pull from your library, so demo videos and naming stay consistent.
- Freeform sections show to members as a read-only block when they log, so they can see the prescription while entering a result.
- Save any workout as a template to reuse it.
