Event waivers

Web Owner · Admin

Non-members attending your event aren’t covered by your membership waiver. If they’re going to move in your space, get a signature.

How it works

Attach a document to the event’s registration flow. Registrants sign it before their registration completes — the same signature experience members get, working on a phone.

Setting it up

Create the waiver

DocumentsNew Document. See Upload your waiver.

Attach it to the event

The document is presented during registration.

What gets recorded

Same as any signature: the signed document, timestamp, IP address, and device, with a generated PDF you can retrieve.

For a non-member, this attaches to their lead record — so if they join later, the signed waiver is already on file.

Walk-ins

If you allow walk-ins, someone can arrive unregistered. They haven’t signed anything. Either:

  • Have them register on a tablet at the door, which captures the signature, or
  • Keep paper waivers on hand and import them later

The first is faster and doesn’t leave you with paper.
