How a member manages their membership
Web MobileMembers handle their own billing details. It cuts your admin load and it’s where most “can you update my card” messages disappear.
What they can do themselves
From More → Subscription:

Their subscription screen also displays a pending cancellation if one is scheduled, so a member who asked you to cancel can see it’s been actioned.
Ending their membership
There’s no standalone cancel button — a member ends their membership by deleting their account, which sets their subscription to cancel at the end of the current billing period. It’s reversible while they’re in deletion pending.

What they can’t do without you
- Change plans. Upgrades and downgrades go through you.
- Change their price. Overrides and discounts are staff-only.
When a payment fails
The member gets a notification with a link to update their card. If Payment Recovery is enabled, Avex AI also reaches out — a friendly reminder first, escalating to your staff with the full payment history if it keeps failing.
They can fix it themselves by adding a working card. No staff action needed unless they don’t.
Deleting their account
Members can request account deletion from More → Profile. It’s a soft delete with a grace period — they keep access during the window and can reverse it.
Deletion also cancels their subscription, so it’s the de facto self-cancellation path. A member who wants to stop paying but keep their history should be cancelled by staff instead — deletion anonymizes their data. See How a member cancels.
