Choosing your numbers

Booking opens — shorter windows (24 hours) keep the schedule fluid and reduce no-shows. Longer windows (a week) suit gyms where members plan ahead. Most boxes land at 24–48 hours.

Booking closes — closing at start time lets people book on the way in. Closing 15–30 minutes early gives coaches a settled roster. If you program by headcount, close earlier.

Cancel cutoff — this is your no-show policy. A 2-hour cutoff gives the waitlist time to fill the spot. Cancellations after it are flagged as late cancels, visible to you. Avex records them; enforcement is yours.

Where to set them

Per class, or on the recurring series so every occurrence inherits them.

What members see

Before the window opens, the class shows but isn’t bookable. After it closes, the book button disappears — check them in as a walk-in instead.

Late cancels are visible to the member as a normal cancellation. Avex doesn’t shame them; it just records it for you.
