Turn on the leaderboard

There’s no separate leaderboard switch. A board appears when a workout has a score type.

The checklist

For a WOD to produce a leaderboard:

  • The workout is dated today (or the date you want the board for)
  • It’s active
  • It has a score type set
  • It has a score direction set
  • At least one member has logged a result

Miss the score type and there’s no board, no matter how many people trained.

The most common mistake

Programming a great WOD, running it with 40 people, and forgetting to set the score type. Nobody can log, no board appears, and by the time you notice it’s tomorrow.

Set the score type when you build the workout. Make it part of writing programming, not something you remember afterward.

Benchmarks

For named workouts you re-run, also set Is benchmark and a consistent benchmark key. That unlocks comparison across every instance, so a member sees their whole Fran history rather than one day.
