How a member logs a workout
Web MobileLogging today’s WOD
They open Workouts
Today’s programming is on the home screen and the Workouts tab. If you published more than one WOD for the day, they pick the one their class ran.
They tap Log Result
The log sheet opens pre-filled with the prescribed movements, so they’re not entering exercises from scratch.
They enter their result
What they’re asked for depends on the score type you set on the workout:
| Score type | They enter |
|---|---|
| For time | Time to complete |
| For load | Weight, with unit |
| For reps | Total reps |
| For rounds | Rounds, plus partial reps |
They also mark Rx or Scaled, which is required on any scored WOD.
They save
The result lands in their history and — if you’ve enabled it — on the day’s leaderboard.
What they can add
- Overall RPE — how hard it felt
- Duration — total time training
- Notes — anything they want to remember
- Per-exercise detail — sets, reps, weight, distance, and notes on individual movements
Freeform workouts
For narrative programming like Murph, the prescribed text is shown as a read-only block at the top of the log sheet, so they can see exactly what they were meant to do while entering their result.
Personal workouts
Members can build and log workouts that aren’t yours — their own accessory work or training outside your programming.
These are private. Personal workouts never appear in your gym views, and you don’t see them alongside your programming.
When a coach logs for them
Staff can log a result on a member’s behalf from the member’s record on web or mobile. Useful for a member who forgot, or a coach capturing the whole class off a whiteboard.
What you see
Logged results appear on:
- The member’s record, under their workout history
- The daily leaderboard for that WOD
- Engagement reporting
