Display and cast to a TV
Web Owner · Admin · Manager · CoachTwo ways to get the workout on a screen.
Option 1 — a browser on the screen
If your TV runs a browser, or you have a laptop or mini PC attached:
Open the display page
Navigate to the workout display view. It renders full-screen with no dashboard chrome — dark background, large type, readable across the room.
Leave it up
It shows the current day’s workout.
Option 2 — cast from your phone or laptop
If you have a Chromecast on the TV:
Open today’s workout
From Workouts on the web dashboard.
Click the cast button
Pick your Chromecast.
Control it from your device
The cast bar stays visible. Advance section by section as class moves — warmup, then strength, then the metcon — so the screen shows what people are doing right now instead of the whole session at once.
Why section-by-section matters
A full workout on screen at once is a wall of text nobody reads. Advancing it as you go turns the screen into something the class actually follows, and it lets you keep the metcon hidden until you brief it.
Notes
- The cast receiver renders in a dark theme sized for distance viewing.
- Casting is controlled from the sender device — closing that tab ends the cast.
- Leaderboard casting is not available yet; casting shows the workout.
