Invite your staff
Web Mobile Owner · AdminStaff get their own login, their own app access, and only the permissions their role allows.
Pick the role first
Avex has five staff roles. Each one includes everything below it.
| Role | Typical person | What they can do |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | You | Everything — billing, Stripe, settings, AI configuration, staff management |
| Admin | General manager | Everything operational, including full member and financial visibility |
| Manager | Shift lead | Members, schedule, check-ins, reports, store |
| Coach | Trainer | Schedule, rosters, check-ins, programming, their own classes |
| Front Desk | Reception | Check-ins, member lookup, walk-ins, point of sale |
Give the lowest role that lets someone do their job. A coach doesn’t need to see revenue, and a front-desk hire doesn’t need to edit plans. You can raise someone’s role later in one click.
Steps
Open staff settings
Go to Settings → Staff.
Send the invitation
Click Invite Staff, then enter their email address and choose their role.
They accept
They receive an email with a link. Clicking it lets them set a password and land straight in the dashboard at the access level you chose.
Notes
- Invitations expire. If someone waits too long, use Resend on their row rather than creating a second invitation.
- Changing a role takes effect on their next sign-in. Permissions travel in their login token, so an active session keeps its old access until they sign out and back in.
- Removing a staff member revokes access immediately. Their historical activity — classes coached, check-ins processed — stays intact.
- Staff records can also hold pay rate and pay type for your own reference.
