Understand payouts
Web OwnerThe flow
A member’s payment goes to your Stripe account, not to Avex. Stripe then deposits to your bank on your payout schedule.
Member's card → Your Stripe account → Your bankAvex never holds your money.
Where to look
Billing shows your Stripe dashboard embedded directly in Avex — balance, payout schedule, payout history, and account details. You don’t need to log into Stripe separately for day-to-day work.
Payout timing
Set by Stripe, not Avex. New accounts typically start on a rolling delay and shorten as history builds. Change your schedule in the embedded Stripe dashboard.
Why a payout might not arrive
| Cause | Fix |
|---|---|
| Payouts not enabled | Stripe is waiting on verification — check requirements in the embedded dashboard |
| Bank account rejected | Wrong details, or the account doesn’t accept transfers. Re-enter it |
| Balance below minimum | Stripe holds small balances until they clear the threshold |
| Account under review | Stripe occasionally reviews accounts. They’ll email you |
Checking your connection health
Billing shows two indicators:
- Charges enabled — you can take money
- Payouts enabled — Stripe can deposit to you
Both need to be green for a fully working setup. Charges can be on while payouts are still pending; money accumulates safely.
