Public event registration

Any event not marked members-only accepts public registration. This is one of the better lead sources in the platform, because someone who shows up to your gym for an event has already cleared the hardest hurdle.

Where it appears

Public events are listed on your gym page at avex-os.com/gym/your-slug. Share that link directly, or link the event from social.

What a non-member does

They open your gym page and find the event

They register

Name, email, phone.

They sign any required waiver

If you’ve attached one — see Event waivers.

They’re registered

Confirmation, and they’re on your attendee list.

What happens on your side

They’re created in your system as a Lead with source event.

That means:

They appear in Members filtered to leads
They sync to your CRM as a contact
Avex AI can follow up with them if lead skills are enabled
You can convert them to a member without re-entering anything

The follow-up that matters

An event attendee who never hears from you again is a wasted lead. Two options:

Automatic — enable Lead Follow-up and Avex AI reaches out to attendees who haven’t converted
Manual — filter members to source event, and work the list

If they later join

If an event registrant signs up as a member with the same email, Avex links the records. If they use a different email, you’ll see a merge prompt — see Merge a duplicate.
